Fasting and the Future

Jaburan english version

FASTING HAS been performed for thousands of years, but until today it still remains an extraordinary mystery to even the most modern science. Even the most up to date science grows more astounded and is increasingly unable to understand the mystery of fasting. Fasting poses a challenge to what is known about the human body, whereby something that reduces consumption can become stronger. Logic would have it that the greater the supply, the greater the strength of a person, but in this case by limiting supply, consumption and the meeting of physical needs, the result is a strengthening.

Human science and medical knowledge, whether modern or postmodern, as well as alternatives from whatever area, region or country would have to command the horizon in front of them to grasp the secret of fasting.

And the secret of fasting is so strong because Allah allows no interpretative departure from the teachings of His religion, which would then become a religion with another name, though none is free of the values of fasting. All religions are concerned with the values of fasting because, in fact, fasting lies on the horizon of the science of the future of mankind.
